Match Play 21 Brief Overview
Match Play 21 Blackjack released by RTG is quite similar to Spanish Blackjack variation. It is played with 8 standard decks of 48 cards, because there are no 10s in deck. The dealer must hit soft 17 and a blackjack pays 3:2. This game also has some bonus payouts for you to take advantage of.
You can choose among such chip denominations as $1.00, $5.00, $25.00 and $100. Just choose the chip denomination you want to play with by clicking on it and choose Deal option to start the game. The minimum bet allowed is $1.00 while the maximum bet possible is $250. This is one hand game, but with Split option you can play with up to 3 hands at a time increasing your bet as well as possible win.
Match Play 21 Rules and Strategy
Your aim is to collect a hand closer or equal to 21 not exceeding it. Apart from standard Hit and Stand options you can choose Split, Double, Surrender or Insurance to make your hand value more advantageous.
You also can get different bonus payouts for some special hands got. Note that you are not eligible for the following payouts after doubling.
If you decide that your hand value is not enough to win you can choose Surrender option and get back half your original bet. The good thing is that you can choose this option on any stage of the game even after doubling or splitting your cards.
You can double once only. This option is activated when two cards are dealt. When you decide to double an extra card is added to create more advantageous hand for you. An extra bet equal to your original bet is added too. Then, you can continue choosing some options available or click on Stand button to find out whether you win or not.
When you have a pair of cards of the same value you can choose Split option. Thus, you will create two hands. You also can resplit once and play with up to three hands maximum. An extra bet equal to your initial bet is placed for every hand created. Thus, you can play multi hand blackjack with more opportunities to win as well as just to make your game more exciting.
If the dealer has an Ace as his first card up you can take advantage of Insurance option. A bet equal to half your initial bet is placed and you will lose it if the dealer doesn’t have a Blackjack. If the dealer has a Blackjack, Insurance pays 2:1.

This time there is no Autoplay option. However, you can customize casino lobby and adjust games settings in accordance with your preferences.
